Our karts are designed especially for rental as they are modern, durably designed, reliable, handle easily and have lower maintenance costs than petrol karts. An OTL kart does not simply contain an electric engine (powered by batteries with an electric engine controller) instead of an internal combustion engine, but rather is conceived from its birth in 1996 as a means of electric propulsion and this technology has been subjected to continual evolution prompted by both research and by track experience. Our karts use the latest brushless AC technology, engine 48-volt with a maximum power of 12 kW, with a controller from 60 A to 400 A fed by 4 batteries of the latest generation (approved for electric competition karts). We use gel seal batteries with maintenance free.

Our unique frame is made of 32 mm steel tubes with adequate reinforcements, FIA approved with welding certification. The disk brakes are self-ventilating and the chain drive transmission is completely covered by the body of the kart constructed in resin with a multi-axle mat for security. The karts are calibrated to reach a speed up to 50mp/h. We set up the ideal speed depending of the organization, and the track length, grip and design. We also build karts for the disabled (with controls on the steering wheel), safety cars and two-seaters.

The competition kart uses six 12-volt batteries for a total of 72 volts and can reach a maximum velocity of 90mp/h. The acceleration rate is 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The maximum autonomy of the vehicle is 15 minutes at full power.

The kiddy kart uses two 12-volt batteries for a total of 24 volts with a maximum velocity of 20mp/h, and is autonomous is up to one hour, depending on the maximum velocity employed. Recharge time takes about 6 to 12 minutes based on the energy consumed.

All our karts are programmed with 3 speeds, reverse, stop and slow. Safe and easy to control, each kart is pre-equipped for the installation of a full radio control. The high technology of our system allows to change the speed (preprogrammed speed 1, 2 and 3), to slow or stop each kart, or all of them.

All our karts use a single battery charger capable of supplying via a smart card set up to 24 Volts, 48 Volts or 72 Volts, the varying voltages necessary. Our battery charger is using the latest advanced technology, equipped with a ventilation system and digital screen monitor that displays the consumption of electricity in KW, the current supplied in amps, the time remaining for the recharge, the state of the recharge and the voltage of the batteries. We use and recommend Optima or Exide ORB 34 DC batteries which both are gel seal with maintenance free.

The adult model DSR has a maximum autonomy of 20 minutes, but usually it is driven at full power for 8 to 9 minutes in order to reduce the recharge time under 8 minutes. While 10 karts are on the track, 10 karts are being recharged. Therefore, for a fleet of 20 karts, 10 battery chargers are needed.

The battery charger requires a three-phase current of 208, 380 or 480 Volts and needs 7 KW of power, so for 10 battery chargers 70 KW are needed.

The timing system is part of the success of our concept. In USA, only a few timing system companies meet our organization.

Working since years with Oskar Timing System, created and developed by Microsoft engineers, we found this system one of the most adapted to our electric karting centers. Thanks to its flexibility, we can create all the races we need, organize events, team building, etc.
